Our chocolate silk shampoo bars are formulated with sustainability and wellness at the top of the priority list. Originally, we set out to make a shampoo bar more economical, but quickly discovered that in order to satisfy our priorities mentioned, our product was not going to be the cheapest on the market. However, most find that our shampoos moisturize enough that they no longer require conditioner! Somehow, we still managed to be more affordable.  Another benefit to using our shampoo is there is little to no need for additional styling products. The Chocolate Shampoo Bar is designed to bring fun to the shower and is designed with every hair type in mind. It is great for color-treated hair and provides UV protection. Perfect for fine, thin hair and curly, coily hair, and loved by brunettes as the cocoa powder is said to liven their brown hair’s color. Ingredients:

• SCI (coconut derivative)
• distilled water
• Honey
• Ghassoul Clay
• Colloidal Oatmeal
• Kokum Butter
• Cocoa powder
• Hazelnut oil
• Essential oils (cocoa and chai blend)

*Honey sooths the scalp, hydrates hair, and boosts shine. It’s great for all hair types.

*Ghassoul Clay aka Rhassoul clay is a Moroccan clay rich in magnesium which adds softness, shine and strength to the hair, and some research indicates it has healing properties.  It contains silica which works as an exfoliant and detoxifier which cleanses impurities from the scalp as well as excess oil, leading to a glossy sheen.

*Colloidal Oatmeal has been proven to deliver a myriad of benefits including hair growth, prevent split ends, treat dandruff, and sooth dry/itchy scalp.

*Kokum butter replenishes hair with intense moisture without weighing it down, helps to hold curls in place without dragging them down, will not leave a buildup and protects against pollutants.

*Cocoa Powder penetrates hair stimulating follicle growth, for long strong and thick hair.  It can also be a natural dye.

*Hazelnut Oil is suitable for all hair types and is a very fast absorbing oil so it will penetrate hair quickly. It has superior moisturizing and can alleviate dryness, brittle ends and control frizz.  Because it is a lightweight oil, it will not leave your hair feeling overloaded.

*Essential oil blends cocoa with chai spices to produce a warming effect and are good for all hair types. It smells like warm chocolate cocoa butter chai heaven.

Directions:

Wet hair thoroughly. With bar in lather bag, wet the bar and bag completely and rub lather bag in between hands until desired lather is reached. Apply lather to hair and continue to massage pressing bar into scalp in circular motions and rubbing long hair back and forth between hands and bar. Once desired lather is reached, set bag with shampoo down and continue massaging hair until satisfied. Rinse hair thoroughly and allow shampoo to dry inside bag between uses. (Hang dry is ideal.) Should last several months depending on use and storage.
