Our Conditioner Bar is formulated with sustainability and wellness at the top of the priority list. Using naturally derived, plant-based ingredients that are 100% safe for people, you can rest assured you’re doing yourself a favor.

At our company, we pride ourselves on offering economical, sustainable, and healthy hair care solutions.  Our conditioner bar is no exception, using BTMS 50 as the cationic emulsifier to provide a 5-star performance.  The EWG rates this ingredient a 3 on a scale of 1-10, 1 being the best and 10 being the worst.  Originally, we set out to use ingredients that were EWG -approved or rated 1-2, but the performance of the alternatives were not satisfactory.

We understand the controversy surrounding this ingredient, but we assure you that it is completely safe for human use and meets the strictest European standards. This conditioner bar creates a silky, lotion-like lather that penetrates hair without weighing it down, making it suitable for all hair types. Depending on your hair, you may need to use this conditioner bar every time you wash or less frequently if you have oily hair like I do. Our conditioner bar is designed to last for several months and you can use it sparingly to make it last even longer.  Simply rub the bar between your hands and ends and then work into your hair.  Be careful not to apply too much as it may feel oily when it dries.  After rinsing, you will experience the silkiness and be tangle-free.  We are confident you will love this conditioner bar as much as we do.

Ingredients:

• Cocoa Butter
• Shea Butter
• Castor Oil
• Argan Oil
• Hemp Seed Oil
• BTMS 50
• Stearic Acid
• Cetyl Alcohol
• Glycerin
• Vitamin B5 D-Panthenol Powder
• Optphen
• Cationic guar gum
• Vitamin E
• Essential and fragrance oils (herbaceous floral blend)

*Shea butter is an anti-inflammatory and is very moisturizing, helping to prevent breakage and reduce scalp irritation. Other roles it plays in hair care is strengthening, lubricating the cuticles, and reducing frizz. Shea butter may weigh down thin/fine hair.

*Argan oil is a miracle worker for hair. In general, it moisturizes, adds shine, protects hair from breakage, and increases elasticity.  It is great for all hair types.

*Castor oil contains omega 6 fatty acids that nourish and promote hair growth. When hair is damaged it becomes flayed and flared, resulting in frizz and dullness. Castor oil can seal and allow the cuticle to lie flatter resulting in shine and decreased frizz.

*Vegetable Glycerin acts as a humectant, hydrating the scalp and eliminating breakage. Anyone with freshly color treated hair may want to avoid using until after a few washes.

*Hemp Seed Oil prevents water loss to protect the hair, revies dull damaged hair, adds shine, thickens and moisturizes the hair and promotes hair growth

*Cocoa Butter moisturizes, shines, smooths hair, reduces frizz, nourishes and strengthens hair, helps with dry scalp

*D-panthenol also known as vitamin B-5, is a mega-moisturizer, humectant, and emollient, helping to balance moisture, improve suppleness, and acts as a strengthening agent. It’s great for all hair types.

*Stearic Acid is a natural plant sourced long chain fatty acid allowing to improve texture and consistency of a product. It locks in moisture while acting as a surfactant, emulsifier and cleansing agent. Stearic acid will leave a thin protective film on hair fibers, revitalizing your locks without weighing them down.

*Cetyl alcohol is a choice emollient in natural cosmetics. Highly nourishing, it provides reparative care, leaving your hair softer, more flexible, and easier to style.

*Vitamin E is great to prevent hair loss, improve scalp circulation, balance oil production, add shine, and a healthy scalp

*Cationic guar gum is a variant of guar gum that possesses additional anti-static and conditioning properties. When used in hair care, cationic guar gum can attach itself to the anionic hair shaft, bolstering hair and preventing moisture loss. Guar gum provides a natural protective film on the surface of skin and hair that conditions and smooths, creating products with an excellent skin feel.

*Optiphen mild preservative to prevent mold growth. EWG rates it a 3/10 on the safe side

*BTMS 50 is the cat ionic emulsifier that is required to mix the oil and the water into a solution that doesn’t separate.  It is the safest of the emulsifiers that is readily available on the market and the best performer in silkiness. It Deeply moisturizes leaving the hair soft while helping to repair damaged hair by restoring its natural shine and strength. It Reduces frizz and static electricity, making your hair more manageable. It is rated a 3 out fo 10 on the safe side of EWG standards.

*Essential oil blend herbaceous floral blend to pair well with the hemp seed oil

Directions:

After shampooing, lather bar directly between hands and hair ends and rub bar in hands to create a lotion-like film to incorporate into hair until desired softness is reached. Unlike other conditioners, you will not notice the silkiness until rinse off, so take care to not use too much. Rinse thoroughly and comb through tangle-free hair.
