Our Strength & Shine Shampoo Bars are formulated with sustainability and wellness at the top of the priority list. Using naturally derived, plant-based ingredients that are 100% safe for people and aquatic life alike, you can rest assured you’re doing yourself a favor, and the environment benefits as a bonus.   Originally, we set out to make a shampoo bar more economical for people, but quickly discovered that in order to satisfy our priorities mentioned, our product was not going to be the cheapest on the market. However, most find that our shampoos moisturize enough that they no longer require conditioner! Somehow, we still managed to be more affordable.  The Strength & Shine Shampoo Bars are designed for those looking for maximum shine and strength, while repairing damaged, frizzy, and dull hair.  Let’s take a look at what’s in the Strength & Shine Shampoo Bars and we will further define how they are of benefit below.

Ingredients:

• SCI (coconut derivative)
• distilled water
• orange peel powder
• colloidal oatmeal
• marshmallow root powder
• shea butter
• argan oil
• castor oil
• D-panthenol
• essential oils (citrus blend)

*Orange peel powder is rich in vitamin C and other vitamins, which act as an excellent conditioner, dandruff controller, and improving blood circulation, leading to more lustrous hair and less hair fall.

*Colloidal Oatmeal has been proven to deliver a myriad of benefits including hair growth, prevent split ends, treat dandruff, and sooth dry/itchy scalp.

*Marshmallow root powder helps moisturize and condition, getting rid of dryness, reducing breakage and split ends. It can also stimulate hair growth as well as detangle hair and manage frizziness. It contains antimicrobial properties that sooth, cleanse and heal the scalp.  It also gives bounce, volume and shine!

*Shea butter is an anti-inflammatory and is very moisturizing, helping to prevent breakage and reduce scalp irritation. Other roles it plays in hair care is strengthening, lubricating the cuticles, and reducing frizz. Shea butter may weigh down thin/fine hair.

*Argan oil is a miracle worker for hair. In general, it moisturizes, adds shine, protects hair from breakage, and increases elasticity.  It is great for all hair types.

*Castor oil contains omega 6 fatty acids that nourish and promote hair growth. When hair is damaged it becomes flayed and flared, resulting in frizz and dullness. Castor oil can seal and allow the cuticle to lie flatter resulting in shine and decreased frizz.

*D-panthenol also known as vitamin B-5, is a mega-moisturizer, humectant, and emollient, helping to balance moisture, improve suppleness, and acts as a strengthening agent. It’s great for all hair types.

*Essential oils were chosen to compliment the orange peel powder. Grapefruit, bergamot, and lemon are certain to be uplifting and help to ward off germs. Citrus also boosts shine and are cleansing.

Directions:

Wet hair thoroughly. With bar in lather bag, wet the bar and bag completely and rub lather bag in between hands until desired lather is reached. Apply lather to hair and continue to massage pressing bar into scalp in circular motions and rubbing long hair back and forth between hands and bar. Once desired lather is reached, set bag with shampoo down and continue massaging hair until satisfied. Rinse hair thoroughly and allow shampoo to dry inside bag between uses. (Hang dry is ideal.) Should last several months depending on use and storage.
